Compassion is the highest Dharma

The Sadhu had woken up to an itch, which the pup had passed on to him when he snuggled into his bed at night. The pup was in distress coz of the skin disease. The Sadhu decided to give it a bath in the Ganga – “hopefully the water will give his skin some relief, I don’t have money for his medicines”, he commented, as he washed him with extreme care and tenderness, Earning that lick of gratitude from the pup.
